Change Oil and Filters
Change the oil on time and change the oil filter with it. In dusty areas, change the air filter more often, and check the fuel filter for water and dirt.
Cooling, Injectors and Belts
Heat damages the cylinder head and gaskets, so check the coolant, water pump, thermostat and radiator hoses, and fix small leaks early. Rough running, smoke or low power often mean worn injectors. Replace cracked belts and soft hoses before they break on the road, and check the clutch during service.
